I just cant understand how we remain motivated to destroy our identity and conform to a world that encourages us to consume allready over exploited natural ressources. when does it end, why do i feel trapped in this mad circle? i guess its just one of those days where a glimps of hope doesnt seem to make me cope with the madness we live in. i know i dont have to accept the "norm" and let the etiquette rule my values, but to a certain extent, i feel that modern society is this massive freight train that we've loaded with all of the natural ressources and that we are now all sitting on. Over the last century, it's reached great speed and momentum, and we all feel like its going somewhere, but if there is a gap in the track ahead, then what... trains dont stop on a dime, and any individual, even with the strongest convictions, would surely injure oneself if one tried to stop this moving mass. the only possibility i see would be to unite trough each community, fellowship, neighborhood... we need to brake the barrier of fear imposing us individual lives! the world is now one big family and we've got all the tools to allow communication and travelling, it is our interest to take the liberty to live as humans, not numbers or function or machines...!<br />let love live<br />peace<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/887598238047112233-2399266034161204558?l=arpivi.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>arpihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11869335883791431471noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-887598238047112233.post-25587243046438064162007-02-03T12:22:00.000-08:002007-02-03T12:26:08.947-08:00<span style="font-family:lucida grande;font-size:130%;">Depuis son retour au Québec, arpi expérimente avec différents styles et mediums, grandement inspiré par ses constatations <strong>sociales</strong> et par l'<strong>urbanisme</strong>, les sujets peints sont souvent choisis pour leur cachet <strong>architectural</strong> ou bien pour leur essence ''street''. Durant les trois dernières années, ses oeuvres ont évoluées de mix-media et lettrages vectoriels abstraits à des reproductions photographiques à l'aérosol sur toiles; combinant ainsi photographie et peinture.
